Karoo respects your privacy and seeks to protect your personal data. The information Karoo holds on you and how it uses it depends on your relationship with Karoo, and on what service you use.

Accessing Karoo via Third-party Portals

If Karoo is accessed via the permissible third-party portals such as Facebook, Disqus, or Twitter or Karoo has no liability whatsoever for any breach of personal information that may occur through these third parties. Registration data as is required by Karoo may be held by Karoo as if registration had occurred through Karoo.

Proprietary Rights in Content

Users acknowledge and agree that the service uses and contains proprietary and confidential technology and information owned by or licensed to Karoo, and protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws and international agreements. Users are not granted any right or license with respect to the trademarks of Karoo, or any third-party. Users further acknowledge and agree that Content contained in sponsor advertisements or displayed, streamed, or otherwise made available through the service may be protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws and international agreements. All material posted on Karoo, including articles, opinion-pieces, debate arguments, comments, forums, profiles, pictures, and messages do not become the property of Karoo.

However, Karoo reserves the rights to use and apply any user-submitted content of any nature without seeking permission to do so. All normal right of attribution apply.

On completion of the Alpha Program, delegate names will be added to the Garo Roll of Honour. If your choice is that despite having successfully completed Alpha, you do not care to be honoured here, then let Karoo know here: admin@karoo.world
